Đavo u Sarajevu i poslije

Đavo u Sarajevu i poslije

Nenad Veličković

After the celebrated novel "The Innkeepers", Nenad Velickovic continues his journey as a successful storyteller from wartime Sarajevo.

The new book presented is a collection of diverse stories and novellas that are united by thematic and spatial affinity, but also by lucid poetic realism that has the right amount of words for each literary character and situation. An expanded edition (with several stories added) of the famous book of stories by a Sarajevo author in which the author vividly presents the war and all the events related to it to the reader, to the point of cinematic proportions, describing its ugliness and absurdity, ironizing every detail. The author avoids collectivity in every sense, but rather stays in the sphere of individuality, and in this way achieves that the reader easily experiences and feels everything that happens in the story.
