Civil society as a research topic is multidisciplinary in nature and it is a special challenge to cover most of its areas. This challenge was answered through the cooperation of a large number of researchers and representatives of various sciences related to the development of civil society. Participatory, action-oriented research produced new relevant knowledge about the strengths and weaknesses and challenges of the development of civil society in Croatia.
