With a little imagination, we can imagine in the place of Jose, the heroine of this novel, any young woman who wants a different life than life in the middle-class parental home.

He hitchhikes to Paris to take his share of good and evil from a more turbulent and exciting life. But Jose is not a creature who will settle for some small quiet happiness protected by a fence of various intimate compromises. She is constantly in a dangerous state of searching for sincere and deep feelings.
