Istina i ljubav
In this collection, Cankar talks about sketches from (probably) his own life. In stories, the plot is not necessarily the main backbone of the theme, but rather the situation itself and the writer's attitude or feelings in a given situation are involved i
Cankar writes about his thoughts, emotional state, circumstances, and translates all of this into a story in which he expresses himself. His stories are intimate and emotional, and they also contain a strong idea that manifests itself as the lesson of the story. Stories like fairy tales have a strong twist, and it is in them that the strength of Cankar's lesson lies. The stories are short, and therefore easy to read. Although they contain hints of stream-of-consciousness writing, they are still enjoyable and extremely interesting.
