Mother Teresa, one of the spiritual greats of our time, in this Stations of the Cross, through her reflections, invites us to follow the Cross of Christ, to embark on a search for Love crucified on the Cross.
In addition to Mother Teresa's reflections, each of the Stations of the Cross is accompanied by a biblical text and a short prayer and verses from the song Stala plačuć’ tužna Mati, which makes this Stations of the Cross suitable for both personal and communal devotion. If you look at the cross, you will see how Jesus' arms are outstretched, because he wants to embrace you. His head is bowed, because he wants to kiss you. His heart bleeds, because he wants to receive you into it. Therefore, when you feel alone and spiritually dry, look at the cross: pain, suffering, humiliation, disappointment, loneliness, are nothing but opportunities to show solidarity with those who, like you, feel alone, sad or abandoned.
