Pazin ist eine Stadt in Zentralistrien, die für ihre reiche Geschichte und natürliche Schönheit bekannt ist. Es liegt oberhalb der Karstschlucht Pazinska jama, in die der Fluss Pazinčica mündet.

Die Stadt ist das Zentrum des Wirtschafts-, Kultur-, Bildungs-, Sport- und Unterhaltungslebens Zentralistriens. Pazin erstreckt sich über eine Fläche von 136,54 km² und besteht aus 18 Siedlungen, darunter Beram, Bertoši, Brajkovići, Butoniga, Grdoselo, Heki, Ježenj, Kašćerga, Kršikla, Lindar, Lovrin, Trviž, Vela Traba, Zabrežani, Zamask, Zamaski Dol und Zarečje.
