Đakovo

Ive Mažuran, a prominent historian, describes in detail the development of Đakovo through the centuries, with special emphasis on key figures such as Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer, who had the famous Đakovo Cathedral built. The monograph also highlights the cultural, historical and human values ​​of the city, presenting contemporary Đakovo and its potential based on rich tradition and culture.

The text in the book is multilingual, in Croatian, German and English. The first edition was published in 2000, followed by expanded and revised editions in 2003.

The book is enriched with photographs by Marin Topić and other authors, which visually evoke the beauty and significance of this Slavonian city.
