Earth Song
European maxi CD release by Michael Jackson from 1995 (Epic). In addition to the title track "Earth Song", it features the songs "MJ Megamix" and "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", packaged in a classic slim case.
Released in 1995 by Epic Records (catalog number EPC 662569 2), this European maxi CD single edition features one of Michael Jackson's most famous and influential songs - the epic ballad "Earth Song". Originally released on the HIStory album, the song combines elements of pop, gospel and rock, sending a powerful and timeless message about preserving the planet, ecology and the consequences of human activity on nature.
In addition to the radio version of the title track ("Earth Song - Radio Edit"), this special CD edition is extremely attractive to collectors because it contains the exclusive "MJ Megamix", a dynamic and energetic dance fusion of his greatest hits, and the classic hit "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'". The disc is released in a standard slim J-card case (slim jewel case), with the single's recognizable visual identity, which shows Jackson against a backdrop of a destroyed landscape.
As an authentic copy of the King of Pop's discography from the mid-nineties, this European maxi CD edition is a must-have item for all collectors, fans of physical media and admirers of Michael Jackson's music.
