Oto Švajcer

U umetničkoj i kulturnoj istoriji grada Osijeka, Ivan Hajl je bio slikar koji ga je, kao najstariji slikar druge polovine prošlog veka, svojim radom, pedagoškim radom, pa i samim prisustvom, vidljivo obeležio.

Oto Švajcer (1907-2003) bio mu je blizak prijatelj i o njemu je, ne slučajno, napisao najinteligentnije tekstove u prilog razumevanju te slike. Moglo bi se reći da je ova slika dobila idealnog tumača sopstvene suštine, svih njenih svojstava i, konačno, vrednosti.
