Once upon a time, in a completely different world, Jane Doe was a doctor of anthropological sciences, a recognized expert on issues of shamanism and native African magic, the heiress of a rich Doe lineage, the lover of the legendary French anthropologist Marcel Vierchon, the wife of the astonishingly talented writer DeWitt Moore.
