Henrik VI

Henrik VI

William Shakespeare

Henry VI is a series of three historical plays by William Shakespeare, the action of which takes place during the life of the English king Henry VI.

Henry VI, Part 1 deals with England's loss of French territories and the political intrigues that led to the Wars of the Roses, as the English political system is torn apart by personal feuds and petty jealousies; Henry VI, Part 2 depicts the king's inability to quell the strife of his nobles and the inevitability of armed conflict; and Henry VI, Part 3 deals with the horrors of that conflict.
