Zagor LU #128: Prošlost fakira Ramatha -
Mac Quade reveals why Ramath fled India. With Dharma and her Thugs pursuing the wounded fakir into Darkwood, Zagor joins the small band determined to protect him.
In Prošlost fakira Ramatha, Zagor learns why his friend has become the target of a relentless pursuit. Adventurer Mac Quade recounts the events that forced Ramath to leave India and seek refuge aboard Captain Fishleg’s ship. Crossing the ocean did not end the conflict: the witch Dharma, Rajah Kubal Singh and their Thugs have followed him to Darkwood.
As the fakir’s earlier life is revealed, the danger becomes immediate. Mac Quade and former Major Kellog assemble a small defensive force around the wounded Ramath. Facing a stronger enemy, they need help, and Zagor enters a battle in which loyalty to a friend means confronting his ruthless pursuers.
Written by Moreno Burattini from a story developed with Stefano Priarone, the issue combines revelations about the past with action in the present. Ramath takes centre stage, his personal history connecting the Indian background with the struggle unfolding in the American wilderness. These revelations explain both his flight and his enemies’ determination.
Raffaele Della Monica illustrates the middle chapter of the trilogy begun in Ludens #127, Thugsi. The conflict concludes in #129, Amajlija od žada. Reading all three issues in sequence provides the complete adventure.
