Stephen King
Stephen King (1947.) najveće je ime suvremenog trilera. Svoje stvaralaštvo započeo je pisanjem kratkih priča i novela, a nakon objavljivanja njegovog prvog romana Carrie, svaki njegov sljedeći roman postaje svjetski bestseler. Dosad je objavio više od 50 romana, a mnogi od njih ekranizirani su za film ili televizijsku seriju.
Među njegovim najpoznatijim romanima su Ono, Pod kupolom, Isijavanje, Groblje kućnih ljubimaca, Zelena milja, Kula tmine, Doktor San i mnogi drugi. Dobitnik je nagrade National Book Foundationa za značajan doprinos američkoj književnosti (2003.), Nacionalne medalje za umjetnost (2014.) te nagrade PEN America (2018.). Znanje je dosad objavilo njegove romane Uspavane ljepotice, te trilogiju Gospodin Mercedes, Tko pronađe njegovo i Posljednja straža. Stephen King živi u Bangoru, u saveznoj državi Maine, sa suprugom, spisateljicom Tabithom King.
