Tereza Raken, roman autora Émila Zole, priča je o mladoj ženi koja je nesrećno udana za svog rođaka posredstvom ohole tetke.

Tetka, suštinski samoživa i sebična, ostavlja utisak dobronamernosti. Terezin suprug, Kamil, je bolestan i egocentričan. Kada joj se pruži prilika, Tereza započinje turbulentnu i strastvenu aferu s Kamilovim prijateljem, Loranom.

Zola je u uvodu naglasio da je namjera ovog romana studija temperamenta, a ne karaktera, uspoređujući svoje djelo sa sociološkim istraživanjem. Zahvaljujući njegovom nepristrasnom i naučnom pristupu, roman Tereza Raken se smatra pravim primjerom naturalizma.
