Cirkus Columbia

Cirkus Columbia

Ivica Đikić

Circus Columbia is a story about Mostar and its inhabitants during the war and post-war 90s of the last century.

A book that combines the author's first novel, awarded with the award "Meša Selimović" (2003), and the famous director Danis Tanović made a film based on it (2010), and stories from the collection "Nothing the color of marshmallows" (2007). The author, a young journalist and writer, presents Mostar in the novel in the years during and after the war of the 1990s, and three stories are thematically linked to the novel.
