Moderna tehnologija i civilizacija

Moderna tehnologija i civilizacija

Charles R. Walker, Adelaide G. Walker

An introduction to human problems in the age of machines

The book is divided into four parts. In the first part, technology is put into the perspective of time, space and history. The second part examines the problems and promises of technology in our time in the West, where industrialism and industrial civilization first emerged and where, until now, they have developed the most. In Part Three, technology outside the Western circle is observed. ... The machine is currently conquering China, India, Africa and other countries of the non-Western world ... In the fourth and final part, hitherto unknown human problems and possibilities opened up by modern technology are considered, as well as how to think about them.
