In this piece, the author shares her personal experiences and spiritual insights about how she has come to know and experience God throughout her life.
Mother Basilea was born in 1904 in Darmstadt and died in 2001 in the same city in the community of sisters she founded in 1974. Even as a girl, she carried a strong longing for a meaningful life. At the age of 17, she encountered Jesus within herself in a special way, who awakened in her the desire to draw closer to God. Love for God and people moved the mother to write down her experiences.
