Gardina tajna

Gardina tajna

Hedwig Courths-Mahler

The accidental death of two young, happy people, the parents of the girl Garda, will become fateful the day Garda comes of age.

Her uncle, wanting to seize Gardia's fortune, presented the secret of her death to her as a consequence of mental illness. From that day on, the death of her parents will degenerate into a sea that will poison her young life, not allowing her even the thought of achieving her own happiness. The plot involves family secrets, such as concealing the truth about her parents' death. Gardia, a noble and good heroine, faces challenges such as envy, meanness and family intrigue, which is common in Courths-Mahler novels. Through the fight against evil and injustice, she perseveres, and the story culminates in a romantic denouement and the victory of goodness, often with the discovery of the truth and the finding of love.
