Guliverova putovanja

Guliverova putovanja

Jonathan Swift

Gulliver cannot imagine his life without traveling, he is an adventurer and his goal is not to learn or find out anything, but to experience numerous adventures.

The story follows Lemuel Gulliver, a doctor who travels to various distant and fantastic lands, where he experiences incredible and often comical events. His travels take him to the island of Lilliput, where the inhabitants are tiny people, and to the land of Brobdingnag, where there are huge people, as well as to many other fantastic lands. Through these adventures, Swift criticizes the social, political and scientific customs of his time, using humor and ironic descriptions.
