Ein Buch, in dem der berühmte kroatische Literaturtheoretiker und Schriftsteller Texte „alter“ kroatischer Schriftsteller (Marko Marulić, Petar Zoranić, Ivan Gundulić, Ignjat Đurđević, Andrija Kačić Miošić...) zusammengetragen hat, die als Widmungen oder Vor- und Nachworte zu ihren berühmten Werken verfasst wurden: „Judith“, „Die Berge“, „Ein angenehmes Gespräch“... und den Entstehungsprozess und den sozialen Kontext enthüllen. Durch die Interpretation dieser Texte erkennt Pavličić die Besonderheiten des poetischen und ästhetischen Ausdrucks jedes einzelnen Schriftstellers.
