The Most Faithful Advocate of Our Church, Our People, Our Family, Our Heart is a theological-Marian work by the Croatian priest, bishop, and writer Mijo Škvorec (1919–1989).
The book is deeply rooted in Croatian Catholic tradition, focusing on the Virgin Mary as the "advocate" (advocate) of the Croatian people, especially in the context of historical suffering and religious devotion. Škvorc, a Jesuit and auxiliary bishop of Zagreb, uses his erudition to combine theology, history, and poetry in a tribute to Mary, emphasizing her role in Croatian identity during the communist era.
