Rasuta sonetna ostrva

Rasuta sonetna ostrva

Hadžem Hajdarević

The book is designed as a series of "islands" - individual poems that function independently, but complement each other, forming a thematic whole.

Scattered Sonnet Islands is a collection of sonnets by the Bosnian-Herzegovinian poet Hadžem Hajdarević, in which the author, through the classical form of the sonnet, contemplates identity, homeland, language, time, and the meaning of human existence. The book is perceived as a meditative, compositionally harmonious work that connects tradition and modernity. Scattered Sonnet Islands represent a kind of poetic atlas – a collection of “islands” that carry fragments of the author’s inner and collective history.
