Sjaj epohe
Novel, double manuscript. Borivoj Radaković's cult novel "Sjaj pohe" was the first novel of the generation that experienced punk and the new wave.
The novel featured football fans for the first time in the history of Croatian literature, as we know them today, raw and adrenalized, filled with ideals that one would readily die for. The Splendor of an Age was our first urban prose text, one of those that would continue to be written in the late nineties and that would at one point become a generational manner. It was our urbanity and our identity, which we would create and consume and from which we would largely live in the times of post-Yugoslav furious and bloody nationalisms. Boro Radaković stylized and completed it in The Splendor of an Age.
