The book "Love in a Skyscraper" (1965) by Angelo Riting is a social novel that depicts interpersonal relationships in an urban environment through the story of the residents of a building.
The story takes place in a large skyscraper where people with different life stories, characters and social classes live. Although they share the same space, their lives often unfold separately, filled with everyday worries, misunderstandings and the silence of modern city life. At the center of the story is love – in various forms: romantic, marital, unrequited or broken. Through the relationships between the residents, the author shows how proximity does not necessarily mean connection, but also how sincere feelings can develop in unexpected circumstances.
