At the center of the story is a strong and aloof hero (a typical Grey character) who arrives in an area known as “Horse Empire Hill,” a place where exceptional wild and semi-wild horses are bred.
There he faces tense relations between honest breeders and greedy powerful people who want to take control of the horses and the territory. The conflicts escalate through herd theft, fraud and violence. The main character gradually gains the trust of the local people, but also develops a close relationship with the horses, especially with one exceptional stallion who symbolizes freedom and the power of nature. The love line is also important in the story, which additionally motivates the hero to oppose injustice and protect what is right. Through a series of tense events, chases and showdowns, the final conflict between good and evil occurs.
