Teorijska poetika: problemi jezika
The study by Maria Renate Mayenowa, long-time head of the Poetics project at the Institute for Literary Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, professor of literary theory at the University of Warsaw, has been published twice as a manual.
Mayenowe's theoretical poetics is divided into seven chapters. The first three deal with defining research methods, the history of the term "language", vocabulary and grammar or the sign-forming levels of language, the next three with text structure, the concepts of style, stylization and stylistics, and issues of verse and prose, while the seventh chapter is a kind of summary.
