Četvrti znanstveni sabor Slavonije i Baranje, sv. 2

The Fourth Scientific Congress of Slavonia and Baranja, Vol. 2, brings together papers from education, culture, science, informatics, economics and technology, with an emphasis on the development problems and opportunities of the region.

The Fourth Scientific Congress of Slavonia and Baranja, Vol. 2 is a thematically diverse collection of papers dedicated to the social, educational, cultural, economic and technical development of Slavonia and Baranja. According to the content, the volume includes discussions on education, student cooperatives, professional orientation of young people, socially unacceptable behavior, physical culture and motor skills, which opens a broad overview of educational and social issues of the region.

The second major thematic block is dedicated to science, informatics, economy and technology. The papers address the position and development of science in Slavonia and Baranja, forestry, construction, publishing, agro-industry, food production, work organization, housing construction and the application of technical and technological solutions in industry. The collection also includes analyses of specific production processes, development possibilities of individual economic branches and research in chemistry, metallurgy and materials processing.

The volume thus acts as an interdisciplinary overview of the Slavonia and Baranja region, in which regional issues are viewed from multiple angles: from schools and social behavior, through the economy and scientific infrastructure, to industrial development and technological modernization. The collection is a valuable source for monitoring the development priorities, professional interests, and research approaches related to this Croatian region at the time.
