Kremansko proročanstvo: Šta je bilo, šta nas čeka?
The Kreman Prophecy is a non-fiction book that investigates the origins, interpretations and credibility of the Kreman Prophecy and examines its alleged predictions of past and future events.
The Kreman Prophecy: What happened, what awaits us? by Dragoljub Golubović and Dejan Malenković is a nonfiction work that deals with one of the most famous prophecies from Serbia and the Balkans. The book investigates the origin of the Kreman prophecy, which is attributed to the psychics Milos and Mitra Tarabić from the village of Kremna, and analyzes the circumstances of its origin, transmission and later interpretations.
The authors compare the texts of the prophecies with historical events such as the change of dynasties, wars, political changes and the collapse of states, trying to show which predictions, according to their interpretation, have come true, and which remain the subject of debate. A special part of the book is devoted to alleged prophecies concerning the future of Serbia, the Balkans and the world, as well as possible social, political and technological changes.
The work brings together historical sources, testimonies, documents and different interpretations, whereby the authors take a research approach, but leave room for the reader to assess the credibility of the claims made. The book is not a scientific study, but a non-fiction review that combines history, folklore and discussion of prophecy, encouraging interest in cultural heritage and questions of the relationship between beliefs, predictions and historical facts.
