Metloboj kroz stoljeća

Joanne Kathleen Rowling

Quidditch Through the Ages is a fictional book set in the Harry Potter universe, "written" by Kennilworthy Whisp. J. K. Rowling wrote Quidditch Through the Ages to benefit the charity Comic Relief.

This is an entertaining and informative account of the history of Quidditch – a wizarding sport played on flying broomsticks. The book describes the development of Quidditch from its early forms in the Middle Ages, when wizards chased various balls on broomsticks, to today’s modern sport with precise rules and positions: seeker, beater, keeper and shooter.

The evolution of the balls (golden fling, clave and bulgers), the role of each player and the development of brooms as the main means of the game are discussed in detail. Of particular interest are historical moments, legendary teams and the bizarreness of old matches. The book also includes a list of famous world teams and the rules used in professional tournaments.

Written with humor and passion, the work provides insight into one of the most beloved aspects of the wizarding world and further enriches the Harry Potter universe.
