Dobri detektiv

Dobri detektiv

John Mcmahon

How do you solve a crime if you've killed the prime suspect?

Detective P.T. Marsh was a rising star in the Mason Falls, Georgia police department until his wife and son were killed in an accident. Since then, he does not clearly see the line between prudent moves and disastrous decisions. Thus, when an unknown woman complains to him about the abuser's boyfriend, the detective intends to reconcile the abuser by force. The next morning, the person in question is found dead. P.T. he could swear the guy was alive when he left, but can he be sure? One thing is certain: his fingerprints are all over the crime scene.

But the real trouble is just beginning. When they find the dead body of a black teenager with a piece of rope around his neck in a burned field, P.T. he realizes that he may have killed the main suspect in that terrible crime. Amid heightened racial tensions and media attention, P.T. reveals the dark motive behind the boy's murder - a conspiracy that goes back to the time of the Civil War. Risking everything to unravel the mystery while battling his own demons, P.T. rushes into a dangerous final showdown.
