The history of the Uffizi Gallery is in many ways the history of the collections of the Medici family and the family that came after them, the Lorena.

The gallery also contains other very valuable collections that reflect the interests of various members of the two royal families of Tuscany: miniatures, antique statues, self-portraits, portraits of celebrities, prints, etc. A walk through the Uffizi is an invaluable aesthetic and cultural experience for everyone. Walking through the gallery halls that line the two parallel wings of the building that join the Arno, we can admire, in chronological order and divided by school, a sequence of masterpieces by Cimabue, Giotto, Botticelli, Simone Martini, Masaccio, Piero della Francesca, Durer, Michelangelo, Pontorno, Titian, Carvaggio and Rembrandt.
