It is a collection of independent prose miniatures, each of which is an independent fragment from the lives of the described actors, supported by fictional motifs. All the actions and events are original models from the life of transitional Croatia, so in them, in addition to personal, frontally narrated destinies that begin much earlier and end much later, it is easy to read sub-stories related to life in the post-war period, poverty, political turmoil, the relations between the state and its representatives – read: local powerful people – towards changes and general phenomena in society, culture and civilizational values...
