Zagor LU maxi #36: Pripovijesti iz Darkwooda - Jeza iz "Drugdje"

Zagor LU maxi #36: Pripovijesti iz Darkwooda - Jeza iz "Drugdje"

Moreno Burattini, Diego Paolucci, Andrea Cavaletto, Francesco Testi, Adriano Barone, Luca Barbieri

The main narrative line, six short stories that tie into it, and Edgar Allan Poe reading these stories at the "Elsewhere" base in front of agents Jesse and Roberts, but also the mysterious government official Howitzer.

The story begins in the mysterious base "Elsewhere", where Edgar Allan Poe, portrayed as a visionary of horror, reads six short stories to agents Jesse, Roberts and government official Howitzer. These stories, intertwined with the main narrative, introduce readers to the dark atmosphere of horror, mysticism and fantastic elements, characteristic of Zagor's world.

In one of the key stories, drawn by Enzo Troiano, Zagor's consciousness is transported to a parallel world, where he encounters a tribe of savages who practice human sacrifice to appease their gods. Zagor saves Danah, a young woman accused of witchcraft, fighting against violence and superstition. The story strongly criticizes religious fanaticism and the historical practice of burning women, while Zagor, as always, stands on the side of justice and humanity.

The experimental format of the maxi combines different styles of artists and screenwriters, bringing freshness and variety. The plot is full of action, suspense, and deep themes, such as the fight against injustice and the fear of the unknown. This edition successfully combines the classic spirit of Zagor with a modern narrative approach, making it appealing to long-time fans and new readers alike.
