Slava i ljubav I-II

Slava i ljubav I-II

Juliette Benzoni

The book is a romantic historical novel by the famous French author Juliette Benzoni (1920–2016), known for series such as Catherine and Les Orgueilleux.

This work is an independent novel, but with Benzonica's characteristic style: a mixture of adventure, love, court intrigues and historical figures. Set in several eras (from the Middle Ages to the 19th century), the novel explores the theme of glory (military and political triumphs) versus love (passionate, often tragic romances), through the stories of women struggling between personal happiness and historical legacy. Benzoni, inspired by real events and personalities, uses rich descriptions of costumes, halls and battles to create a vivid world, with an emphasis on female strength and the fatalism of fate.
