Zločin u Hezelmuru

Zločin u Hezelmuru

Agatha Christie

The action takes place at the prestigious Meadowbank Girls' School in England, where mysterious crimes intertwine with intrigue, espionage and hidden gems.

The novel begins in Ramat, a fictional Middle Eastern country, where a political upheaval is taking place. Prince Ali Yusuf entrusts the precious jewel to his pilot Bob Rawlinson, who hides it in the luggage of his sister Joan Sutcliffe and her daughter Jennifer, who are traveling to England. The action then moves to Meadowbank, an elite school for girls, where Jennifer attends classes. The school, known for its reputation and discipline, becomes the scene of a series of disturbing events. After the physical education teacher, Miss Springer, is murdered in the school gym, tension rises. New murders soon follow, and the students and staff become more and more paranoid. Suspicious characters appear, including mysterious strangers who take an interest in the school, while there are whispers of hidden treasure. Hercule Poirot is called upon to solve the case only when things get out of hand, using his usual method of observation and analysis of the "little gray cells" to uncover the killer and the motives behind the crime.
