The Vitamin Bible is a world bestseller by American pharmacist, nutritionist and lecturer Earl Mindell, first published in 1979, and the Croatian edition came out in 1990. The book is the first mass "self-help manual" on vitamins and minerals in Croatian - sold over 100,000 copies in the region, often called the "green bible" in the 1990s. In the 90s, the "Vitamin Bible" was what Google + TikTok tips are today - but in printed form. It is not a scientific textbook, but it woke up a generation to think about nutrition and supplements.
