Ako ostanem

Ako ostanem

Gayle Forman

Mia is a seventeen-year-old cellist who has been accepted to Julliard, the most prestigious American music school, which she is not yet sure she wants to attend.

The reason for her insecurity is mainly her boyfriend Adam, who has his own band and plans for the future, and then there's her harmonious and happy family, to which Mia is very attached. But this seemingly important question (going to Julliard or wherever Adam decides to go) will soon become completely trivial, because a car accident will take everything from Mia's life: her father, mother and little brother Teddy, while Mia herself will fall into a coma from which she can only emerge if she finds enough strength and will to do so.
