Nova gospodarska politika

Nova gospodarska politika

Đuro Njavro

The book deals with the economic development of Croatia at the beginning of the 21st century and analyzes the problems and opportunities of the Croatian economy after the transition from a socialist to a market system.

The author emphasizes the need to modernize the economy, strengthen entrepreneurship and create a stable economic environment. It pays special attention to the role of the state in market development, privatization, employment and attracting foreign investment. Njavro points out that successful economic development requires education, technological progress and responsible economic policy. He criticizes the slowness of reforms and warns of the problems of corruption, inefficient administration and insufficient productivity. The book is written in a professional but understandable style and presents an overview of economic ideas and proposals for the long-term development of Croatia.
