Očevi, gdje ste?

Očevi, gdje ste?

Pavao Brajša

Fathers should understand that a woman, becoming a mother, does not stop being their wife, so they should behave like that, if they really want the best for themselves, the woman and the child!

The book with the provocative title does indeed have that intention - to answer the question of where fathers stand in raising and caring for children. The book was created based on articles published during 1985/86 in the magazine "Otroku in druzni". These articles caused a lot of reaction from readers with questions about the role of fathers. It consists of three parts, in fact, three phases of theoretical thinking and practical action in connection with today's parenting issues. The author believes that first it is necessary to demystify motherhood and place it in a realistic and objective framework, that the halo that is too heavy for both the mother and the child should be removed. Only after this demystification of motherhood can one approach the emancipation of fathers and fatherhood; which is the basic condition of modern parenting, a team, partnership and creative relationship between father and mother for the happiness and satisfaction of future generations.
