Grudski žrtvoslov

The monograph "Grudski žrtvoslov: Victims of the Second World War and its aftermath and the Homeland War from the Grude Municipality" is a major research work by Vlado Bogut and Ljubo Leko. The book is the result of many years of archival and field work aimed at collecting, identifying and systematizing data on the dead, murdered and missing persons from the Grude region in the two war conflicts of the 20th century. The authors provide detailed information and biographical notes for hundreds of victims, including soldiers, civilian victims, victims of the Way of the Cross and subsequent repressions in the post-war years, as well as defenders who died in the Homeland War. The work is not just a list of names, but also a valuable historical document that contains photographs, testimonies of survivors, reference documents and analyses of the historical circumstances that affected the western Herzegovina region.
