Blues Rezervata

The powerful CD album of the first release of the Kruševac blues-rock band "Kamen, duša, žica" from 2013 brings raw garage energy, retro indie overtones and the sadness of small spaces.

This first CD release by the Kruševac band Blues Rezervat with their debut album titled "Kamen, duša, žica" from 2013, released in collaboration with the publishers Slušaj najglasnije and Plavi pilot, represents an exceptionally mature and impressive entry into the regional alternative scene.

Although imbued with the spirit of classic blues, the band does not resort to sterile modernization, but rather devotedly cultivates an authentic garage sound and down-to-earth lyrics that resonate like an echo of forgotten spaces. The album successfully captures the retro influence and energy of domestic alter-rock of the nineties, combining a clean rhythm section, languid vocals with patina and raw authenticity into a unique whole.

A special place on the album is occupied by the eponymous, hypnotic anthem "Rezervat", which functions as the perfect soundscape from a stuffy, mellow blues club. Although the listener may be surprised at first by the band's sonic labyrinths, their confident and uncompromising playing breaks all prejudices.

This first CD release offers a much-needed refreshment and presents a fenced-in blues with strings that spreads powerfully and melancholy through grassy backwoods, leaving a lasting impression on every fan of sincere and uncompromising sound.
