Zagor LU #348: Sedam Vikinga
King Guthrum and his Vikings enlist Zagor’s help to hunt the murderer Starkad, following his trail north along the Green River towards the Great Lakes.
Sedam Vikinga (The Seven Vikings) opens with King Guthrum and his warriors arriving in Pleasant Point. Their presence causes a commotion, but the ruler of New Vinland has a serious purpose: he needs Zagor’s help to pursue Starkad, a dangerous murderer who has betrayed his own people.
The fugitive has headed towards the Great Lakes. Zagor and Chico join the Viking company and travel north, upstream along the Green River. Familiar companions unite around a common objective as the hunt carries them away from Pleasant Point and into a new wilderness adventure.
Jacopo Rauch combines a North American frontier pursuit with the return of Zagor’s Norse allies. Guthrum is more than an entertaining visitor from an unusual settlement: he leads warriors determined to stop a killer and traitor. Zagor’s willingness to assist makes their mission a shared undertaking.
Gianni Sedioli and Marco Verni illustrate the opening journey, bringing the Viking company into the series’ familiar adventure setting. This issue begins a three-part storyline continued in Demoni magle and concluded in Hridine zla, establishing the pursuit that draws the heroes towards further dangers.
