Zagor LU #341: Prošlost i budućnost

Prošlost i budućnost (Past and Future) continues Zagor’s struggle against Kandrax in a reality transformed by the druid’s magic. Imprisoned in someone else’s body, Zagor finds himself in a world that no longer knows the Spirit with the Hatchet. His enemy has changed the past and reshaped its consequences. The hero must act in a reality from which his own history has been erased.

Kandrax currently rules an isolated valley. He has enslaved its inhabitants and forced them to build gigantic mechanical dragons, preparing to extend his domination beyond this hidden stronghold. Zagor must reach him before his ambitions can threaten the wider world.

Claudio Chiaverotti develops a fantasy adventure concerned with identity, cause and effect, and resistance to an imposed destiny. Defeating an enemy is only part of the challenge. Zagor must also confront what remains of a person when their body, familiar life and place in other people’s memories have been taken away.

Marco Torricelli depicts a setting where ancient sorcery meets mechanical monsters. Concluding the two-part storyline begun in Kandrax, this issue brings both the valley’s freedom and Zagor’s claim to his own existence into the conflict.
