Zagor LU #90: Bijela srdžba
Bull joins Zagor and Chico’s pursuit through the snow, seeking his wife’s killer. As the fugitive leaves more victims behind, Bull reveals a life marked by loss and exclusion.
In Bijela srdžba, Zagor and Chico continue investigating a series of violent crimes in the snowy country around Lake Ontario. They are joined by Bull, a man of mixed ancestry whose wife has been murdered. His search for her killer becomes entangled with the deaths of several trappers, but whether the crimes share a perpetrator remains uncertain.
As the fugitive leaves further victims behind, Bull recounts a life shaped by suffering and social exclusion. His history gives the pursuit a personal and emotional focus. Zagor must listen, observe and connect the evidence without allowing the urge for a quick confrontation to overshadow the search for truth.
Moreno Burattini combines a murder mystery with a western about revenge, prejudice and the consequences of violence. Snow makes travel difficult and intensifies the characters’ isolation, while mistrust creates dangers of its own. Loss and injustice threaten to generate further brutality.
Gallieno Ferri illustrates the middle chapter of the three-part adventure begun in Ludens #89, Čovjek s puškom. This issue develops the characters’ relationships and prepares the conclusion in #91, Smrt u ledu. Reading all three provides the complete story.
