Zagor – Kolor #16: Leteći brod
Zagor and Scarlet fly to the ruins of the Atlantean city of Ol Undas. With a military escort, they must stop artificially created monsters led by the intelligent Serkis.
High on an immense rock stands Ol Undas, an ancient Atlantean city whose ruins still harbour danger. Artificially created monsters remain there, led by Serkis, a creature displaying exceptional intelligence. Zagor sets out to stop the threat before it extends beyond the isolated city.
In Leteći brod, he is joined by Scarlet, the adopted daughter of Baron Icaro La Plume. They reach their inaccessible destination aboard the Baron’s flying machine, accompanied by a squad of soldiers. An aviation invention becomes the means of returning to a place where a lost civilisation’s legacy meets the consequences of dangerous scientific experiments.
Atlantis, flight and artificially created creatures give the adventure its science-fiction character. Rather than ordinary frontier opponents, Zagor faces a threat made more formidable by its leader’s intelligence. Scarlet takes an important role in their shared mission.
Mirko Perniola writes the dangerous return to a lost city, while Fabrizio Russo illustrates the aircraft, its unusual destination and the creatures awaiting the expedition. Colours by GFB Comics complete an issue for readers who enjoy the fantastic and science-fiction side of Zagor’s world.
