Traces of the First People is a popular science work that deals with prehistoric man and the oldest traces of human existence. The book represents one of the earlier attempts to present the then-known knowledge about human prehistory in the Serbian language in a popular way. Today, it has mainly historical and antiquarian value, as a testimony to the level of popularization of archaeology and anthropology in the interwar period.
