The monograph "Agriculture's Contribution to Economic Development" by agrarian economist Ivo Kuštrak, published in 1984, is a thorough economic-analytical study dedicated to the role, potential and strategic significance of agricultural production within the broader economic system. In the book, the author considers the key mechanisms through which agriculture affects the overall economic growth, stability and food independence of society. Through professionally elaborated chapters and rich analytical material, Kuštrak investigates the interdependence of agriculture and industry, the contribution of the agricultural sector to the national income, employment and foreign exchange balance.
