Es gibt nämlich fantastische Geschichten über vergrabene Schätze, die, was sehr schwierig ist, nicht ohne historische Grundlage sind. Deshalb suchen Menschen nach diesem vergrabenen Schatz und manchmal entdecken sie ihn. Riesige Summen wurden in die Suche nach vergrabenen Schätzen investiert. In diesem Buch beschäftigt sich der Publizist und Übersetzer Vlatko Šarić mit dem Thema vergrabener Schätze und zeigt Geschichten und Geschichten über die Suche nach goldenen Vliesen, goldenen Tresoren, sagenumwobenen Goldmünzen und Schmuck – ein Phänomen, das Menschen quält und oft wie ein Mythos auf sie wirkt Fantasie. Ohne sich auf unseren nationalen Boden zu beschränken, zeigt Šarić in etwa zwanzig leicht zu schreibenden Studien, wie Menschen von der Zeit der Inkas und Tutanchamun über Cromwell und Rommel bis in unsere Tage nach vergrabenen Schätzen und verborgenen Werten suchten und diese manchmal auch fanden. Mithilfe der Weltliteratur zu diesem Thema gelang es Šarić, dem Leser eine sehr plastische Suche nach verborgenen Schätzen und den Rausch goldener vergrabener Reichtümer zu präsentieren.
