Krystal and Nichole, sisters raised in a foster family, have always had each other's backs. So when Nichole ends up in a psychiatric hospital after trying to kill her husband, Krystal immediately rushes to her aid. Despite a difficult childhood, the two of them succeeded: Krystal became a prominent lawyer, and Nichole was happily married. But Nichole begins to argue that her husband is not who he says he is and that he deserves to die. Driven by loyalty, Krystal begins to investigate, which leads her into their shared, dark past to a terrible tragedy and a well-kept lie.
