Mea culpa
In the novel "Mea Culpa", about the love of a young Englishwoman for two men, an English officer and an Egyptian nobleman and fighter for national rights, which she wrote at the beginning of the twentieth century.
Annie Vivanti, increasingly involved in supporting the interests of oppressed peoples, expresses a sincere condemnation of English colonialism in Egypt, as well as a passionate defense of national claims.
